The CircusA Poem by Y.F.Life is not always the happiest show on earth.
Every day I jump through hoops,
their fire burning from inside, the beast within already tamed, for I no longer have my pride. I juggle tasks most inhumane, and most unbalanced do I feel riding askew, with no support, pursuing poise on just one wheel. A lifetime full of twists and turns, and as I fold myself in half, this rubber-boy, about to snap, just turns his back upon himself. There is no crowd to watch nor cheer, and yet I find myself bow down, there's just one question to be asked - Am I nothing but a clown? © 2010 Y.F.Author's Note
