Lovers From Across The OceanA Poem by Y.F.A dialog about a love that seems impossible.
- "Faith brought from the regions nether
chose to bring our souls together, and the irony is such, that your hand I cannot touch". - "Oh my dear, for you I long, for together we belong. In my soul I am with you, yet I don't know what else to do". - "I wait the day I'll win the prize, to see the sparkle of your eyes, to feel your lips so soft and tender, and truly feel that we're together". - "Oh ma chère, how do I pray, that you were here, not far away. if only both our lips could touch, because I love you, oh so much". - "Great Poseidon, I beg thee, listen to my only plea - dry the ocean, bridge our lands, so we could touch each others' hands". - "Satan, I will give my soul, render my life, pay any toll, if you'll unbind us from this curse, because it couldn't get much worse". - "Our prayers have fallen on deaf ears, which missed the sadness of our tears. I curse this evil dire spell, which is a fate much worse than hell". - "This dire curse upon our back, had caused my fragile heart to crack, my only comfort, so it seems, is that I'm with you in my dreams". © 2010 Y.F. |
