Lonely Tear

Lonely Tear

A Poem by Y.F.

A tear goes down across your cheek

wishing just to stay alive

greeping, scratching at your skin

but for long it won't survive

A lonely dance around your dimple

one last step before it dies

tragic is the end for teardrops

hurtful is the pain of cries

Short and sweet,
To me this is about mortality, and how insignificant and short a life is when you look at the bigger picture and however hard we try to cling on....so we should accept this fact, and enjoy it while it lasts and have that last dance
But what do I know?
Masterful as ever, well done
