"The hands on the clock
seem to slap at her face."
That's what I'm talking about, I love the way your work can shrink a lifetime in to half a page and I can feel that life, YOU make me feel that life, not only can I feel her pain but I can also feel the intensity of the love affair before he broke her heart,
What this tells me is that time does not heal, but with time you learn how to live with your pain, if it's intense enough it sort of becomes a part of you,
But what do I know?
Lovely description of lost love and the slow passage of time as it relates to healing the wounds. I can almost feel the "agony" of her loss. Well done!
