Hyding

Hyding

A Poem by Y.F.
"

We all have our demons

"

Just one last look

before I fall to the ground

the pill that I took

relieved me from sound

as noises get stronger

filling the room all around

I stay still no longer

nothing could keep me bound

Like an animal, searching

no target in sight

no one running or lurching

no one trying to fight

something darker than black

crawls under my skin

as I plan an attack

on the demons within

I agree with Brenda Sue about the rhyming - great!
I don't really know what else to say. I just really like this piece.

Unique piece. Wonderfully written, I'm sure I've felt the same way.
