Casual Bye-Day

Casual Bye-Day

A Poem by Y.F.

One final night

before I have to go

I don't want to fight

lets take it slow

Lets make love

in front of the fire

when I look above

I see your souring desire

So pure, so clean,

so why does it feel like a sin?

Why do I feel I'm about to cry

as I'm slowly going in?

I look in your eyes

as they lie to me

so much I despise

the way things have to be

One final kiss

before we say goodbye

you I will miss

but I'm not quite sure why

I want to shout

but I'm not sure what about

Why do I feel I'm about to cry

as I'm slowly going out?

I never win

the spiders under my skin

Why do I feel I'm about to cry

when I think about where we've been?
