55 on 56

55 on 56

A Poem by Y.F.
"

Will they ever meet again?

"

55 minutes

every single day,

is the amount of time

my life's on delay.

As I rode 56

from my home to my job,

I could not have suspected

I'll find you, my love.

As my eyes wondered off

yours they have met,

you set next to me

and we started to chat.

From that day 55

was eternal bliss,

as we spend precious time

on line 56.

Last week you were gone,

and I'll never know why.

Is it me? Is it you?

At least say goodbye.

Now I think about you,

now I just reminisce,

as 55 minutes pass

on line 56.
