One Last WishA Poem by Y.F.I'm holding the pillow tight, kissing my thumb good night, wishing they were someone special, but wishing is all I'm able.
I'm wrapped up inside my blanket, as I think of my life of repentant, wishing for emotional height, instead of this cold lonely night.
In my head I picture tomorrow, just another day of sorrow, wishing I'll find true love, staring at the ceiling above.
I know wishing never helps, but action is always complex, and before I could ponder why, I'm wishing this day goodbye. © 2008 Y.F.Featured Review
