The Vision

The Vision

Giving things up for the greater good

And then it happened – they grew.

It was just like in his dreams.

They were as black as the night itself, and as majestic as a fairytale to a small child.

Finally he earned them.

Finally he knew his quest has ended, and his mission is about to begin.

Finally he was ethereal.

He was eager to try them, but at the same time he felt the serenity taking over his whole body, making him what he always knew he was destined to be.

The amazement in the room was great.

It's not like he didn't feel it, or didn't care, he was just in a whole other level of thought.

Surely he impressed everyone, but he didn't care, because he knew that as much as they were amazed by what just happened, they couldn't fully grasp the situation or its consequences.

He did however await a coming question.

This question was asked for by the ignorant, who believed certain things all their lives, and what they have just seen completely shattered their reality.

But he didn't mind answering.

Maybe because he knew the question was asked for, or maybe because he waited so long for the moment he could answer it, and take off the mask he was forced to wear all his life.

But they couldn't ask.

Not because they were too smart, or too dumb to think of the question, but because they were stunned by what they have just seen.

They were completely speechless, and awaited for him to explain – why did he keep this a secret?

How could he lie to them for all this time?

But as I said - they were ignorant.

They didn't think that maybe he didn't lie.

He did rather hide it, but he would never lie about it.

They just never thought of asking.

After a few seconds of embarrassing silence he looked into her eyes.

He saw shock, and the tip of a tear in her eye.

He smiled, turned back and walked away.

Walked away to start his mission, leaving everyone he loved behind, shocked and completely shattered, emotionally and mentally.

It was the start of the new times.

I think of this and I think ofthat truely hated person tat always went out of his way to make everybody around him miserable. This guy spent his whole life making himself apprear better than everyone else by using them as steps. He goes into a church one day after a close examination of himself and in frontof everyone makes a life change. They are in shock nad in awe at the amazing power of God. Even some of the most faithful wonder if it's God or was inside this man all along. The mn goes out to start a new life.

Is that a reach? A reach would accurately describe the spanse of my imagination, maybe not my gramatical abilities but definately my imagination.
