Silent MelodyA Poem by Y.F.Dealing with a lossOur hero stands, looks up above, No word will slip his lip. He does that every night Long after everyone's asleep. Not making wishes upon stars, His true wish can't come true. If you'd see him standing there You'd be left without a clue.
A melody is on his mind, Not matters of the world. Not from words it is composed, Yet from things that can't be told. Made up from thoughts and feelings, Things others can not see, A broken heart that turned into A silent melody. He's yelling out in silence, And no one hears, none replays. He had created in his mind A world of half truths and lies. For the truth he can not handle, It's too hard for him to bear. He seem to know it isn't true, Yet he doesn't seem to care. He's yelling out his heart for her, The one who's on his mind, But no answer will be given, For she had long lost died. Yet he stands there every night, Beneath her window, near their tree. For he will always love her, In his silent melody. © 2008 Y.F.Author's Note
