Imperial DarknessA Poem by Layla J OmoroseImperial
Darkness Quiet.
Thoughts churning. The
heartbreaking The
silent eyes of the watcher…forever watching. Judgment…the
night stalker Cold,
unfeeling …nothing The
quiet murder lurking in the shadows.
Transparent
teeth Invisible
to the eye Attacking
the lions pride Ruler
over shadows Commander
of loneliness Instructor
of pain Always
wanting but to never have Reaching
but never touching
A
chilling stalker…women…children Words
written in the dark Heartfelt
A
hurtful reality Soul
shattering…physical wounds
Immortal
darkness Creep
up from the sides Wrap
around…smothering Sinking
Drowning
Dying…I’m
sorry Imperial
