Intoxicated

Intoxicated

A Poem by James A Sterling II

I've lied and almost died.

Cried and almost sighed .

Beautified and almost denied.

Falsified and almost declassified.

But never have I detoxified.

For me, I think that the protagonist has suffered a lot but the darkness in him will still remain. It's a great poem.
