Sweet IronyA Poem by Jrayselfless and unconditional love
Her eyes shines like a prism light
during his darkest night she gets him gasping for air she's the queen's rightful heir In her throne full of flowers she smiles Behind it are the thorns that makes her cry Happy is the moon for the sun could rid her darkness Bittersweet it is, cause it's not him that she embraces For they are heavens apart, and even distance could not measure or explain one thing he knows, he will never let his love go in vain If there will be someone who's willing to die just to fix her broken smile It would be him, he will never ask why. As the winter breeze draws near, and summer is far distant she longs for his warmth and kindness, and sheds tears in abundance He asked why, why can't they just be together she looked up in the stars cause even she can't find the answer Destined to be together, but their fate doesn't play equal their cards has been dealt, there's no more second chances for she's having butterflies in her stomach, while his is infested with bats He's laughing in his nightmares, while she's sound asleep like a cat. If the eyes are the window to our soul, and her feelings unknown I guess it's safe to say that his heart needs a home.
