WORDS

Be careful of what you say. Or listen to what they're actually saying.

Words, they often mean a lot of things.. 

it could just be a facade of true and inner feelings

For words could mask the fire burning deep inside

by a cold tone, empty phrases or shallow sighs

Often filtered to be mastered by the common thought of the listener. 

but does words really convey what we want them to feel? 

Or words are just mere illusions of a true intention 

that has been long questioned but we hold back because of fear.

It is a tool, a weapon, most powerful beyond measure

it could twist the truth and poison an entire nation

It could woo a fine princess, or overthrow a great king

In good hands, words could be so liberating

Much has been said, but less dared to listen

for my words could cut the thickest armor while being covered in satin

In it's purest form it could move mountains and feed your hungry soul

but if abused, it could consume your entire personality whole

So I say to you, this much is true

use your words wisely before they use it against you.
