Cnidarian Dreams

A Poem by Alex Borst
"

Song Lyrics

"
What am I gonna do?
My mind's been split in two
I saw the Dalai Lama smile as he flipped me the bird
He said "Enlightenment just isn't for you."
Well, it's time for a Plan B
Or maybe just time for some sleep

For the first time in my life
I truly want to lose my mind
I know it's all gonna go to hell eventually
So it might as well be right now
Lets get ready for lift off
I'm not sure when I'm comin home

O! I'm stepping out again
To get away from everything
O! My chips are down again
But I know I'll get em back again somehow
On the other side

Is this what we were sold?
Our youthful eyes had promised more
Well there's no way for us to get back now
Unless we burn it all to the ground
And when we dig through the ashes
I hope you find your dancin shoes

O! I'm stepping out again
To get away from everything
O! My chips are down again
But I know I'll get em back again somehow
On the other side
