this paper thin world.

this paper thin world.

A Poem by JohnPate.

stare out my window till the day fades.

now, tell me your thoughts decayed

swim slowly through my ocean

now, tell me why my words weaken

put the weight of my world on your shoulders

now, tell me that im just one for your liers

and so, my curtains will slide shut to forget

my ocean will drain from its tearduct exit

and for now this weight will be uplifted

till i awake and again realize i've bin cheated

I love this poem! The meaning of it so closely relates to what I write that it seems as though I'm reading something I wrote. Great work!
