This s a poem that while I was sitting in my room....
Here I am sitting on my bed, Thinking what life would be like if I were dead, By not getting fed? By not getting my needed meds? By getting struck with an arrowhead? Will I have bled? Will others see the red? Will I at least get wed? Before I drop dead? What is life for me ahead?
Here I am sitting in my room, Thinking of my doom, Thinking of my first classroom, Wait, Let's resume, Because one day I will bloom, Never looking back at the day I was sitting in my room, Thinking of my doom, But Growing, And getting to dance in my first ballroom, In whom, I’ll meet him, Forget every sin, And go out on a lim, And be happy till the end.
The first ones are always the trickiest, trying to find the right words, the right phrases, everything seems to have to be perfect, but as you are scratching the dictionary and clawing at google, you find that you envelop a beautiful piece from within. and always makes them special.
This is wonderful! I think about my own mortality quite a bit. Death seems bleak, but I feel like I am able to appreciate life so much more knowing one day I will die, instead of never thinking about it and pretending like it won't happen.
Balance is key!
Anyway, I am very much looking forward to reading more of your work. I love thought provoking subject matter!
