Empty DefeatA Poem by Joz
Armor pierced, falling on broken knees.
I gasp for air, but all i receive are these. Swords, Penetrating clean, penetrating deep. Glinting neat blue steel, tainted reddish pink. The loathed betrayal your actions speak Enlighten the crop your harvest reaped, But your harvest queefed. I'm the firewall your virus beats, You're a Trojan and I'm a Greek. Like the Odyssey, You ought to see the damage you unleashed. Like a chainsaw hacking trees, You're hacking me. Limb by limb falling to my feet, Stacking bloody heaps. Drifting deeper into dormant sleep, And here she be, Miss Little Bo Peep, Plaguing needs, plaguing dreams, plaguing sheep. Her plaguing seeks the liquid my clouds secrete, Releasing toxins my heart can't cease to keep. © 2011 Joz |
