Would you believe me if I said I love you? Could you promise me that you will never leave? Why should I believe you? When I said for always and forever? I never meant it to end up this way. But you never could commit. And now I am walking away with everything but you.

I said forever and you just nodded your head. I wanted to be with you for always. But how could we be, when you were with everyone but me?

We were two fools in love, but then push came to shove. I was out of my mind, how could I love you? When you never loved me? I said forever and you just nodded your head. I wanted you for always. But how could I be me? When I was always with you?

You were never there, when I needed YOU the most. But now you need me?

Wow. I loved it! =D
Very vivid picture of how "you" cared for "the other" more than they cared for you because they were foolish. My favourite line was "I said forever and you just nodded your head. You just wanted me for always. But how could you be? When you were always with me? I can never love you the same way. I have to leave, its whats best for me." Lovely. Keep it up! =D

I really love the line "I said forever and you just nodded your head". It does a perfect job of bringing across the feeling that is intended (you caring more for them than they did for you, or something to that effect) and it makes the reader relate to you by thinking of a time, perhaps, that they have felt like they are being slighted and overlooked. Great write!
