dust

dust

A Poem by Red-Sea-Kelp
"

old fragments

"

dust

in the cracks

on your bedroom floor

sweep away

            your odour

                        your thoughts

                                    your body

become featherweight

look upstream, you said…

see the future?

quench your thirst

with the water

                        in your cupped palms

enjoy the freshness

before it…

and the river bed stones

                                    crumble

into

dust
