Blue Man

Blue Man

A Poem by JourneyBlu

Blue man

With blue brain

Are you cold?

Your slow thoughts

They glow

Living in cardboard boxes

Does your discomfort grow?

You sing and softly strum

Whispered words

Are you alone?

Dirty clothes

Exposed bare feet

Do they take you anywhere?

Crumpled dollar bills

Empty alcohol bottles

Are you drunk now?

Perched on overturned crates

Hiding in corners

Do you know where you are?

Blue man

With blue brain

It is December

Are you cold?

So far, this is the best poem I've read at this writerscafe site. Everyone else writes so abstractly with hackneyed concepts and slack verbs.
