Upon A Time

Forgetten
Past with loving memories
A life that felt so long ago
Playing harmonrous melodies
Trapped in the sands of dark tendencies
Longing to remember who could I even be?

Once
I was charmer, who struggled to survive
Kept inside the sands of sand
Who's soul was stuck inside
Wanting to run for the cover of freedom
Yet found no place to hide 

A
Thing of breathtaking beauty
Something that made my heart shine like the finest of the Sultans jewels
Who eyes
Captured my soul like a drunken fool
Skin that appeared as radiant as glittering moon but it was her love that threw me

Upon
The thinking of what I should've said I couldn't change direction
For I was now in a cave of wonders
Dreaming
Of the object of my affection
Around the ominous place I wondered until I found what I seek
Yet the trouble was
As it often does
It's not as easy as one may think

A
Treasure I saw where I couldn't believe my eyes
The old man was right
I could not have forseen
This most astonishing surprise
So now the moment came when I could change my misfortune & where destiny finally met
Yet what I didn't see coming
And I knew I should have seen

What Abu was going to do next

Time
That comes from every journey that was made by lies
The genie I met who became my friend
Answered my cries
Changed my world and turned it upside down
I never needed secrecy
To fall in love with his majesties crown
His daughter
Whom I loved truly & she me in return
But a curse came to take away all that I had earned

So now I sit
longing to remember
All the pieces
That were suppose to fit
This life I live isn't mine
For what I lost is left behind
Something I long to find 
A love
That I will forever be bind & bound
A broken curse
The search begins
To find what must be found
