The Loss of Him

The Loss of Him

A Poem by Solidad

I carried a baby on my hip,
and unborn son from years past.
In and absolute world,
he would've swam longer within my womb.

The loss of him,
caused a piece of my heart to dissolve.
A hole that only aches,
when the wind blows.

And there is a strong wind,
that forces me to cause winter;
Like a guilt stricken Demeter
sick with the yearning for a child Hades posses.

The pain in this is so visceral. I can literally feel it. What a sad experience and you portray it so wholly.
Great

Soli this is very well penned but so sad also. Don't you know all babies go to heaven. They get a free pass. xoxo
