For All the Wrong ReasonsA Poem by SolidadKarma gets to everyone eventually.
Assaulting Loyalty in broad daylight;
there were witnesses. As though you'd escape from punishment. You hid beneath your flailing arms as the sky fell. Sticking out my foot causing a kink in your stride. The road in which your gate once swallowed now lay still. Stationary your pride; humble in your defeat. Sorry for all the wrong reasons tears welded eyelashes together. Never repenting for the treason committed; just for your own captivity. © 2011 SolidadAuthor's Note
