At Your Feet

At Your Feet

A Poem by Solidad
"

I refuse obedience.

"
There is love, a kind that even god himself
is willing to tear right out of the frame.
Found blessings in misjudgments
The way I use to before I loved him.

Back when I martyred my dreams
                              at your feet.

Knowing my place was to stand
in your shadow.
That place where hope hung
like silken tapestries behind imprinted glass.
Shunning necessity of you
I refused obedience.

Back when I relinquished  those chains
                              at your feet.

This is a hard lesson and it sucks when you find out what love really is and what and where you are supposed to be. I love this piece.

a hard lesson that can't be taught ~ one that must be learned intimately~ your language brocade again is exquisite in its capacity to relay the undertones of humanity in a most sublime and captivating manner~

That place where hope hung like silken tapestries behind imprinted glass........such a beautiful melancholy piece you have painted here. I feel such sorrow from this piece........Excellently penned.

It is a lesson that is learned through out life, love is blinding and sometimes we repeat past mistakes in hope of having love over being lonely. Such a thinker you are filled with emotions and lessons that you share with us all.
