For All EternityA Poem by Solidad
Never thought you'd wish
For things passed Carrying around that Painting memories hovering Thought she'd be stuck Forever "Stupid boy You can't fense that in" Always hoping later Down the way she'd Still hold onto those chains Instead she promised herself To another Lost In thought Wallowing In your lonesome Blame bleeding through your heart Heavy with doubt Of all the things You brought on yourself Her slipping Through your fingers Would be the worst So hold those flowers With deepest apologies Those of which she's already forgiven It won't matter As lace will adorn her hair The day she vows Before everyone And god That she'll love him For all eternity © 2011 SolidadFeatured Review
