BrittleA Poem by Solidad
There has been glitches in our love life
an awkwardness like a paused breath between hiccups gasping for air as the sand fills our lungs empty gazes embody the dead space touching the scales of affection she holds steadfast knowing you'd grab a hold of anything that appeared sturdy Emerald pools line your retinas she inhales all that you retain eroding away at the pericardium creating a single file line in the artery that shoots directly from your secret place siphoning out the precious moments causing you to brush elbow with the faint Of heart. © 2011 Solidad |
