Finding God

Finding God

A Poem by Solidad
"

Searching for something to believe in.

"

So she left me behind

Damn her and her foolish pride.

She wouldn’t give an inch

And I lost you because of it.

The song played again

And again

The snow fell

Amidst the rain

And the sleet

And the road grew frigid…
Wisdom of the lonely

Sadistic

You’re hurting me

She begged me to stop

The pipe was passed to me and I

DID NOT HAVE SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH THAT WOMAN”

(But I did inhale…)

We consummated the necklaces

(Rosaries if you wanna get technical)

Let’s all hold hands and pray to the being in the sky

The man in the moon

The lady of the night

Whom ever you pray to

Be sure that “ANSWERING PRAYERS” is at the bottom of their resume.
