Nail Polish

Nail Polish

A Poem by Solidad
"

Feeling beautiful?

"
I am the bridge closing the clash gap,
between you Gucci sash and your red Prada shoes.
If and when you shake me I may or may not
come
out.
Depending on the temperature.
I am the defining factor as to if your hands are beautiful,
Or not.
You use me early in the day to avoid a mess
Spreading me thin,
In order to savor the attention I pay,
to your fingers,
Occationally you become lazy,
and after a bubble bath you use me,
to accentuate your toes,
But be careful love,
For if you sleep with me while wet,
I may stain your sheets.
