Two Turtles

Two Turtles

A Poem by Solidad

I once owned a prophet and a philosopher.

I kept them together

In a kidney shaped tank

On my nightstand.

In dirty water,

With a palm tree.

They ate Tetra and sat on rocks to sun bathe.

Jesus and Archimedes roommates and quiet.

In case you're lost Jesus and Archimedes were two turtles I use to keep as pets. Though they often thought they were human and took after their namesakes.
