Digital HeartbreakA Poem by SolidadLater to be blogged about...
We touched hands like a blurt of honesty.
Though honestly, I'm not really sure whose telling the truth anymore. We couldn't perceive one another's words because the anger kept us at our posts. Reserved and harmless, throwing insults like granades. With thunderous booms though never landing. Later to be blogged about by not so innocent bystanders. Details of sutures, purpled bruising and a chess game of scars. Briefed on chinks in armor by friends and strangers alike. There won't be forgiveness in our treaties. No hope of 'I'm sorry' no matter how shallow the plea. Hurt swelled and uploaded like a jpeg file. Publicly announced, in so many characters. Without any character because nothing happens behind closed doors anymore or ever again. © 2013 SolidadAuthor's Note
