I certainly am not caught in the hysteria.. sure I'll catch myself singing to a stupid Daughtry song or Carrie Underwood's lovely breakup tune .. but I don't see the thrill of it A.I. the voting and whatnot.. and I love music and singing :)

I like your poem.. I like the mockery of American Idol in it "cant you hear them on the box, screeching like you do in the shower" . It makes me feel I'm not alone in my distaste for the show and the sheer awe at it's mass popularity. I'd much rather watch pepto commercials.

id like to meet the rocker chick even though she has a fiance..... everyone else is kind of a d-bag but theres a few im pulling for...... i like the music more then i like the people in the show.... when they sing songs that i know i can compare the singing to how the stars sing...... anyway good write.... i guess im caught in the hysteria hahahahahaha
