Magic's CallA Poem by JoleneBelieve in whatever brings you joy and the magic of nature is where i find mine.
They may laugh and they may scoff at my silly little ways,
When i tell them twas with FairyFolk that i just had spent my day. They roll their eyes and mock me, And i let them have their say How sad for them to not believe that Magic fuels our day. For some its facts and figures that help them feel at ease But since i was a little girl Earths Magic's called to me She's crazy now you're thinking ,my friend please go ahead Because i believe in Magic so your words will not offend. My belief in Magic is imprinted on my soul, It lights that fire inside me and it gives me strength when i'm at war. Since i can first remember Earth Magic's felt like home Now not the Hocus Pocus kind, i speak of magic of days old The Stardust that we're made of and how the stars align. The fact that we are on a ball that just spins round and round. For me proof's all around me in everything i see, The sun , The Moon, The Mountains , The wildness of The Seas. The strangeness of Earths Creatures , the silent beauty of The Trees. Explain it all with science or give credit to your God but i believe these wonders are not for us to understand We are simply blessed to be a part of this unknown Universal plan. To me it does not need explaining And i do not feel the need to hear your scientific theories or be told which God to love or fear. But as i believe in Magic i'll listen to your stories on how the World began and i will not claim you're right or wrong nor try to bend you to my will. Earth's Magic flows inside me and my belief you cannot kill. Your words will not enrage me, i'll let you live you in peace and from all the non believers of my faith no acceptance shall i seek. You see Magic and Me are a real good team, we allow no darkness in. © 2020 Jolene |
