Calypso

Calypso

A Poem by Jolene
"

a chat between me and one of the many different Goddesses inside me that i look to for guidance in my journey through this life.

"
Am i awake???
Is this a dream???
Can you all hear it? that music i hear?
That soft lilting singing drawing me near.
She calls to me softly ...he is not yours...Calypso i hear you...this love is not real.
Please sweet Calypso rip me up a storm cause i feel so alone and so far from the shore.
Sweet Calypso just like you ,i can do no more, for a love that's not free is no love at all.
Yet you know my heart aches and these truths i should know.
In my dreams i can see you stood alone on the shore and your words like a song are calling me home.
Stay with me now on this rough and wild voyage, fill my soul with your strength , let me deal with all damage.
Your warning i heed, no false love shall i seek.
I open myself up to "So Mote It Shall Be"
And doubt not that inside me your song always shall heal.
