God, please let it rain,

Let it wash away

All this pain;

Let it cleanse my tainted soul,

Let the raindrops

Make me whole.

God, please send the water bucketing down,

Let it wipe away

This ugly frown;

Let it rinse my poor aching heart,

Oh please,

Let the rain start…

it is very simple and straight forward. i would have liked to see a little more vacabulary. that is not needed really but its always nice to have a few big fancy words. although some over do it and just end up confusing everyone with all the metaphors and such.
