Deja Vu

What if you awoke

To a day with no sun;

A morning with no joy;

A bird with no song;

A flower with no scent?

What if you found out

That all you had ever dreamed of

Can never be;

That all you had ever needed

Was based on a fallacy;

That all you had ever asked for

Didn’t exist in reality?

What if one day you realised

That the one you really wanted

Was always by your side;

That the one you always needed

Was the one you pushed away;

That the one you still dream of

Is the one you’ve lost?

What if you woke up

And realised it was all just a dream?

Would you do something

To change the outcome,

Or would you just watch on

With this uncanny feeling of Déjà vu?

I like this poem...i have deja vu moments alot...and it would be very hard to see what would happen if nothin was here and that all your dreams will never be...but really there is a chance that our dreams wont be...but dreaming is apart of life
