The Great Disappointment

The Great Disappointment

A Poem by Kitty

 Laying on the ground,

Curled up in a little ball,

I cry.

I cry tears of sadness;

Cry tears of fear.

I cry tears of rejection;

Cry tears of pain.

Why did I believe?

How could I ever have thought

That I would be good enough?

I cry.

It would seem
That no matter what I do,

I will always be

The great disappointment

Of my family.

A sad flow of words here.. I can't imagine anyone being a disappointment to their family. I really like the presentation here.

Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
