Please, Don't

Please, Don't

A Poem by Kitty

Stand by my side,

Even if it’s a few steps away.

Look into my eyes,

Even if it is only to explain something to me.

Speak to me,

Even if it’s only to reprimand me.

Kiss me,

Even if it’s only to wish me well.

Write to me,

Even if it’s only to inform me.

Laugh,

Even if it’s at my naivety.

Touch my hair,

Even if it’s only to tug on it playfully.

Brush past me,

Even if it’s to push me out of your way.

Love me,

Even if it’s only as a fellow person.

But I beg of you,

Please don’t ever say goodbye.

Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
