They All Float

They All Float

A Poem by Kitty

Follow the little paper-boat

Down to the sewer drain,

As it sails its set course

On the trail of rain.

Oh no, your paper-boat is gone,

It’s fallen into the darkness below.

But don’t worry, I have it

And I won’t let it go.

Come on, little Georgie,

Come get your paper-boat

I have balloons too, Georgie,

Join us, we all float.

I’ll be your best friend

Just give me your hand.

Give it to me, Georgie,

Give it, I demand.

You’ll be happy down here -

You’ll make many friends

Join us, little boy,

For you this is the end.

Now that he’s with me

All that remains is his yellow raincoat.

Tomorrow I‘ll find more children to join –

They’ll all float.

Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
