The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most

The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most

A Poem by Kitty

There are places in your mind

Where you once felt protected;

Where, when you were thinking

You felt connected.

But as the years passed,

Your mind grew dark -

Your thoughts were no longer as happy

As a walk in the park.

These places in your mind

Have consumed you with fear.

You try to scream,

But there’s no one to hear.

Your mind, so scary,

Like an evil ghost.

These are the places

You have come to fear the most.

The darkness engulfed

Your once happy thoughts,

It was as if

By the Devil it had been taught.

Evil thoughts

Clogging your mind.

Tearing at your hair

Is the only salvation you find.

Overcome by fears

Of your sickening desires.

Thinking too hard

Will be your demise.

Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
