Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

A Poem by Kitty

There is no need

To worry about her.

I took care of it,

Of that I am sure.

No more letters or calls

From the girl you once called “Love”.

I’m sure you were quite done with her

And that you’d had enough.

I told her to leave you alone –

Your relationship with her had come to an end,

And that you wanted nothing to do

With a crazy ex-girlfriend.

At first she pretended

That she didn’t understand,

But I made sure she did

With this gun in my hand.

The look of fear on her face

Filled me with such joy,

Knowing I would have you

All to myself, Roy.

I killed her

And to hell I’ll be sent.

But I did it so you never have to worry

About a crazy ex-girlfriend.

And we can now be happy -

No more girls in our way.

We’ll be together forever

And that is how we’ll stay.

There is no need to thank me -

I did it all for you.

Cheer up, my love,

Don’t look so blue.

Why have you told me

That this, I cannot mend?

Am I now just

A crazy ex-girlfriend?

Finding peace has always been a struggle for me. But if there is one thing I can wish for the world, it's peace, love, more tolerence, faith, hope and trust. I hope you find it somewhere out there.... more..
