Clouds of Dreams

With a heart of stone,
I remember that yesterday's gone,
And all I am left with are bitter sweet shattered dreams
Of laughter spent on a cloud of dreams.
Love and 'Forever' -
Just figments of the mind.
Who was to think that such a soft and passionate
Rhythm of passion
Could become like rose petals on the wind
And end all choked up, dead,
By the smoke and fire
From the flames of Love and Life...
