Hiroshima's Elimination { Retold}

A Story by Josh Wesey

{ Retold}

 Monday, August 6, 1945, at 8:13 a.m.
Paul Tibbets fidgets as he fondles with his buttons.
The Enola Gay swerves to the right.
Taking a dive through the clouds.
                           ...
Hiroshima's farmers plough their land. Just another day is assumed. A black modern bird is seen shooting through the skies. Citizens cower under their house suspecting an incoming grenade or c4 assault. Prayers to Buddha are flown . Children who were roaming the streets without guidance now scream for their mothers. Hope for survival of wives and children are dashed like stones by the river bank. Fathers in their various workplaces think back to the early morning dispute with their wives. Though, no one ever expected the demolition to be of such grand scale; of such Mass blood loss.
                                                ....
 8:15 a.m.
            Tibbets receives the order and pushes the lever.
                          Little boy drops like the rain.

In a second, 80,000 bodies are desecrated in a demonic radiating flame that engulfs every life & property in its path. The peaceful land of Hiroshima is wiped out in a mushroom cloud. Unprecedented wipeout. Buddha quietly sits on his temple, Quiet as usual.
It wasn't the only decision they could have taken.
Years later and we still threaten nucler attacks.
Has anything changed in our world except for the evolution of military weapons?

                                 Hiroshima's Elimination.
