Screw love lol

I mean no disrespect to the Greek mythological gods & goddesses, but I believe that most souls will agree with me that cupid should really retire his arrows to Olympus.

You’ve done enough.

Heck. More than enough.

This damned notion of “love” has brought much sorrow to the hearts of everyone.

I wonder why no one ever notices this though maybe they do but shun it for the pleasure gained from the joy of its existence in one’s life.

It’s just the same damned cycle consistently repeated over & over.

Catching “Feelings”, Consistent Discussion through social medias or physically though this done purposely to let the “feelings” blossom in their hearts, The question is then raised “ Will you …… with me “ , the lady either says yes immediately or postpones her answer so her friends or colleagues don’t view her as a “s**t” or maybe even an easy target for the male creatures prowling for prey, Though in the end an answer is given, The ridiculous notion begins, It begins with an slow & easy genesis and slowly moves to various ups and downs of the relationship , though unlimited reasons could be given as to why the relationship would end but here goes my point.

Why go into something that will hurt you?

At such a tender age too.

This “sweet love” has caused more suicides than poverty.

A sane person will never walk into a burning furnace.

So why do we clearly …..

I forget.

We are not sane, we blind ourselves to the fact that the relationship will end in pain.

Oh no.

I see Cupid.

He’s coming closer.

Wait. He wouldn’t.

He just shot me. And I stared. Part of me eager to fall in “love” again and part of me knowing the tragic epilogue.
