Bloody Lust

Bloody Lust

A Poem by joshua sauerborn
"

this poem is about a man murdered by his fiancee so she could marry his enemy, he then watches them at their honeymoon as a gohst.

"

I do, I do, I do
you said to me when the
sky was dark blue,
I said it too like a
bird that flew,
one full of love
one from way above.
I'd kill a dove
for you, what would
you do,
spit in my face like I was
a rotten shoe.
Looking at you with your
crimson dress
and your flirtatious smile
felt like a knife in the chambers of my bile,
hurt even more when that axe
broke through my life
whilst I thought of my beautiful wife.
I stare at you from the gates,
wasting your time with the thing I hate,
feeling my wrath smash like delicate plate.
A dog is filled with joy and beauty
building smiles on peoples' faces,
not loving you is like an empty snail shell,
when I saw you with him I wanted to die,
now that's the wrong choice because I see you
every second bathing in lies,
It's like living with the Lord of the Flies.
how's Croatia with your fella,
enjoying your honeymoon while
I watch with rage brighter than any flame,
feeling your joy simmer in the tomb of my soul,
acting like I never existed,
you're like a cold steel pole,
churning my misery with your coal-black soul.
