Trilogy Part ThreeA Poem by Joshua RawlinsThird Part of Trilogy
Emerald line
Drawn through the towering grass, Slippery from diamond morning dew. A loose, low yet regal stance, Forsaking spine. Through dripping silver pools pass, Crusted sliver, subtle branch of yew, Warp the willowy green lapse, Flowing like wine. Rich wine springs forth red from glance, From ivory fangs sweet poison spews And coats pronged ruby lance: Lamian ensign. Sun blood, cold heart, tight skin hearse, Swelling from cutting loose the rear'd noose. Grass dweller eats cursed mass By shedding time.
