Run Away From Me

Run Away From Me

A Poem by Joshua Kyle

 Run Away
 By: Joshua Kyle McLaughlin
I smirk in the mirror.
The broken shattered mirror.
The tables have been turned now I'll make you run.
I'll make you pay for what you did.
These fangs will rip into your skin.
Savor your final breath and look into my eyes.
This is the price you pay.
All the years you tortured me, have turned me into this.
I remember every scar, every tear, everything you did to me.
You have woven your own demise, I'll be the nails in your f*****g coffin.
I will eat you alive.
The monster in the mirror is about to be set free.
I've lost control.
I take pleasure from your pain.
I never thought I had it in me, but I guess you pushed me a bit to hard.
Now I'll push you harder.
Push you through the window.
Push you in the street.
 Kick in your teeth.
Break your ribs on the curb. Now how does it feel.
Knowing this is what you made me.
Consumed by hate I will not be satisfied.
Covered in your blood I still thirst for more.
The gift of revenge is mine to bestow.
This won't end until your skull collapses under my f*****g fist.
Run. Away. From. Me.
Run. Away. From. Yourself.
You.
And.
I.
Are.
The.
Same.
