Another Year

Another Year

A Chapter by JoshiDx

Tradition
Demands a celebration
My position
Invites impugnation

Why won't you celebrate?
Celebrate with your friends
I won't capitulate
Just complicate distress

Consternation
They demand celebration
My frustration
Invites oscillation

Perhaps let them celebrate
Would I celebrate them?
I mustn't overstate
Just to generate defense

Isolation
To hide from celebration
My deviation
Invites retaliation

Why can't they celebrate?
Let them celebrate you
I can't elaborate
Just eradicate my views

Celebration
Let us celebrate you
Fascination
With the fading of youth

Demands that we celebrate
Do I celebrate unknown?
I don't hesitate
Just to alleviate alone

About
I decided to break down and write something here. Too bad I don't know what to say. What's there to know about someone who doesn't exist? Even if words capture the essence we are still at a loss for w.. more..
