Night PlatformA Poem by JoshLDNSometimes it's better to stay in the dark.
Deepest hour of the darkest night
When doom and gloom has devoured all light The creeping, crawling, slithering sounds Of dirty vermin seem all around A thick, raucous silence descends on your ears No sliver of warmth to dispel those fears Your trembling mind begs for light To sever the blackness like a scythe But you're deceived by your human thoughts Light cannot be your savior anymore Better to stay hidden, shivering away In the eternal shadows of your night; our day Even in light, you're condemned to your fate Blinded ignorance... your anesthesia down here, too late
