I Wish You Knew

I Wish You Knew

A Poem by Josh Hale

It was in a library
The first time I glimpse your beauty.
And that moment I knew
Little by little I'll fall for you.

Such beauty was noticeable
Pure and outrageously loveable.
My heart melted the way your smile form.
And, a new feeling deep in me was born.

I never understand the meaning of love
Then I found you, and I thank God above.
No song of chivalry could ever compare
To the wondrous beauty of yours, my dear.

I love you, I wish you knew.
You were the light to my darkest view.
I hope that I told you,
I really wish you knew.
